Delhi Police Cyber Crime Cell arrests person trying to scam ministries by creating fake ID
  • The accused sent a mail to Ministry of Labour and Employment saying he’s newly appointed Pay and Accounts Officer
  • After that he asked the ministry to approve his ID on PFMS as a Pay and Accounts Officer
  • Scrutiny revealed that no such person has been appointed and the police then nabbed the accused

Cyber Crime Unit of Delhi Police received a complaint from the Ministry of Labour and Employment that on June 25, 2019.

The complaint mentioned that Ministry of Labour and Employment received an email from one Lalit Dagar. In the email, Lalit Dagar had claimed that he’s the newly appointed Pay and Accounts Officer, Pay and Accounts Office.
